Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Computer Science or Information Systems)
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in systems development, IT, or a similar technical role
- Demonstrates strong technical expertise in:
- Website management (WordPress, JavaScript, hosting, and web security)
- Network infrastructure, including firewall administration, VPN setup, and SD-WAN platforms (e.g., Cisco Meraki)
- Google Workspace administration, including user/group management and policy controls
- Advanced spreadsheet skills in Excel and Google Sheets, including use of VBA or Google Apps Scripts
- Skilled in translating business needs into functional solutions using approved tools and platforms
- Experienced in system configuration, automation, report building, and structured testing procedures
- Strong background in technical documentation, including user stories, process flows, and QA procedures
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on optimizing workflows and reducing inefficiencies
- Effective cross-functional communicator, able to work closely with both technical teams and non-technical business users
- Adept at presenting technical findings in a clear, user-friendly manner and ensuring high levels of end-user adoption and satisfaction
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
- Willing and able to travel occasionally to support team collaboration, system implementation, and organizational needs
What a Day in the Life Looks Like:
- Meet with business teams to understand challenges and gather requirements.
- Translate needs into actionable project plans and technical specifications.
- Develop solutions, whether configuring systems, building reports, or automating workflows.
- Test and validate systems to ensure everything works as intended.
- Collaborate with end users to refine solutions and make them user-friendly.
- Document processes, create user guides, and maintain technical records.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions.
- Monitor implemented changes to track their impact and suggest future enhancements.
